Main accused finally arrested in Saif Ali Khan attack case

Despite many attempts, BJ could not hide himself. Mumbai Police arrested the main accused from Thane, Maharashtra in Kakvore on Sunday. The accused’s name is Mohammed Alian alias BJ. He confessed to the crime himself, the police said. On Thursday, January 16, at 7 am, the accused stabbed Saif repeatedly at his house in Mumbai. The main accused was arrested from the forest behind Hiranandani Estate in Kasarvaravalli, Thane. However, before that, he did not give the police much trouble. The accused was using a fake name to throw dust in the eyes of the police. He told the police his name was Vijay Das. He used to work as a housekeeper in a bar in Thane. The accused was arrested in a joint operation by Bandra police and Crime Branch.

According to police sources, he was hiding in a dense forest. After a long search, he was caught by the police. The accused will be produced in court on Sunday. The police will apply for his custody. The police said that more information may be obtained from the main accused. The main accused is currently kept in Khar police station in Mumbai.

The main accused had hidden himself in the accommodation of the workers of the metro station under construction near the estate. The police also said that the main accused is a resident of West Bengal. However, the police are also investigating whether the main accused is an Indian or a Bangladeshi infiltrator.
