KATHMANDU: Mansi Ghosh has emerged as the winner of Indian Idol 15, impressing the audience with her magical voice and singing prowess. Along with the highly sought-after Indian Idol trophy, Mansi also received a whopping sum of 25 lakh INR in cash, in addition to a brand-new, shining car.

Her victory has inspired a deluge of congratulatory messages on social media, and the official Indian Idol Instagram page too is celebrating her victory.
This year’s panel of judges—Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah—also witnessed a competitive finale, where Mansi competed with front runners Sneha Shankar, Subhajit Chakraborty,

Chaitanya Devdhe (Mauli), and Priyanshu Dutt. Mansi was announced as the winner, and Sneha Shankar was the second runner-up and was awarded 5 lakh INR as cash. Sneha was also offered a recording contract by T-Series because of her talent.

Mansi was the first runner-up of Super Singer Season 3 before being announced as the champion. Her strong voice and vocal skill have clearly struck a note with listeners as well as judges, and thus she is today one of the most promising youngsters from India and one of her biggest fans includes music director Thaman.
