KATHMANDU: The highly anticipated Nepali movie Khel is set to premiere in theaters on 12th Baisakh, 2082. (April 24, 2025). The production team announced the release date alongside the unveiling of its official poster.

Leading the cast is actress Surakshya Panta, supported by a talented ensemble that includes Bhola Raj Sapkota, Mithila Sharma, Sarita Giri, Kiran Shrestha, Hena Nagarkoti, Monika Thapa, Samapika Gautam, and Nikita Acharya.

What sets Khel apart is its innovative storytelling that interlaces Nepal’s rich folklore, cultural traditions, and spiritual elements into a suspenseful and thrilling narrative. The film follows the journey of four friends as they navigate a series of mysterious and engaging events.

Directed by Anurag Pradhan, a seasoned assistant director with experience in Bollywood, and Aastha Shrestha, a veteran in Nepal’s film industry, Khel combines expertise and creativity.
