Nepal Festival 2024 to be Held in Dubai, Showcasing Nepali Art, Culture, and Tourism

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Festival is set to take place in Dubai, UAE, on April 20 under the theme “Celebration of Nepali Art, Culture, Sports, Business, Tourism, and Identity.” The festival, to be held at Creek Park, Dubai, is expected to attract around 15,000 Nepali and foreign spectators, according to Bikash Shahi, President of Nepal Association–NRNA UAE.

Organized under the patronage of the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the event is being coordinated by Nepal Association–NRNA UAE, Nepali Community UAE, Nepal Indigenous Nationalities Federation UAE, Nepal Journalists Association UAE Branch, and various ethnic, regional, religious, and class-based organizations.

As per NRNA UAE Vice President Bhim Malla Thakuri, the festival is held with the aim of promoting Nepali art, culture, traditional attire, food, handicrafts, and tourism to the global community.

The festival will also feature live performances by popular artists such as Sandeep Chhetri, Namrata Shrestha, Shantishree Pariyar, Arjun Sapkota, Chakra Bam, Elina Chauhan, Bam Bahadur Karki, and Asmita Ranpal.

Vice President Thakuri has invited all to participate in this great celebration, stressing its importance in projecting the identity of Nepal at the international level.
