In a shocking plot twist, ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam for years now, will “die” on the show. Don’t panic—it’s all just transient plot trickery! Sources for Dainik Bhaskar inform us that his demise will be kept close to the vest only for the sake of suspense, and he will reappear two weeks later.

This massive plot turn is one of the efforts of the makers to revive CID 2, which received immense response and went viral on OTT at first but then experienced a decline in rating and TRP points. To prevent it from further going down and to rope in the audience, the crew wanted something different here by bringing in this dramatic turn with the show favorite ACP Pradyuman.

CID, started in 1998 and aired till 2018, was a favorite cult with unforgettable characters like ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, and Daya, who still remain near and dear to the audience’s hearts. Will this shock be enough to revive the show to its peak level? The fans can’t help but wait for it!
