KATHMANDU: After their collaboration in Upahar, celebrated Nepali actresses Rekha Thapa and Pooja Sharma are set to reunite in an upcoming film. Initially rumored to be titled Kaali 2, the movie will now officially be called “36 Ko Aankada” and will be directed by Sabir Shrestha under Kites Entertainment.

The movie falls under the category of action and family drama and has guaranteed a thrilling storyline with power-packed performances. While Rekha and Pooja have been finalized as the two heroines, two male leads still need to be finalized by the makers. The team has already planned to initiate the shooting process by the end of Baisakh (April-May). However, they have kept all the other information to themselves, and fans are waiting with curiosity.

Director Sabir Shrestha, who has delivered movies like Kasle Choryo Mero Man, Kaali, and Tathastu, is already an established director in action as well as romantic movies. He showed his mastery over action story telling with Kaali and Tathastu, and thus, a lot is expected from his new release. Script and music composition are in progress, and the team is working day and night to make the film special. Rekha Thapa and Pooja Sharma are both deeply involved with the film, attempting to come up with another blockbuster.
