Laxman Utekar-directorial Chhava earned ₹156.62 crore worldwide within its initial four days. The same, Prithviraj Sukumaran-directorial L2: Empuraan, has stomped ahead with an astonishing ₹165 crore in the same timeframe.
This action-packed thriller is the follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer and is proving to be a box office phenomenon. With its tight script and superb performances, L2: Empuraan is another example of the manner in which South Indian cinema is setting new standards in the industry.
