A statue of the famous folk singer, composer, and late actor Jayananda Lama has been unveiled at his home area of Bahrbise Municipality Dharpa in Sindhupalchok.
The Jayananda Lama Memorial Fund has unveiled the sculpture on his private land. The 6-foot-high Salik was built and unveiled at a cost of around 1.5 million rupees. He passed away last year.
