Celebrity-favourite French fashion designer Manfred Thierry Mugler has passed away. He was 73.

As per People Magazine, Mugler’s daring designs have also been worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, Cardi B, Cindy Crawford, George Michael, David Bowie, Nicole Kidman, Megan Fox, Katy Perry, Rihanna and more.

The French designer’s team announced his passing on Sunday, sharing a black square to his personal Instagram profile with the tragic news, which was written in both English and French.

“We are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd 2022. May his soul Rest In Peace,” the caption read.
