Preparation for Indra Jatra has begun in Basantapur with the arrival of the Yoshin (Linga) today. The Linga was brought to Hanumandhoka from Chittapol Jungle in Bhaktapur. The pole, which will carry the banner of Lord Indra, is set to be erected on Wednesday, officially marking the beginning of the festival.
