Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at the age of 96.

The head of state of 15 countries, including Australia and Canada, visited Nepal as a guest of King Mahendra and Birendra during her 70-year reign.

Now the 74-year-old Prince Charles is the king of Britain. Queen Elizabeth has reigned through 16 prime ministers, including the historic Winston Churchill to the current Liz Truss.

Britain is the country with which Nepal has the oldest diplomatic relations.
