Visual stories: Gai Jatra celebrated at Hanuman Dhoka

 Gai Jatra is one of the most important festivals of the Newar community. People celebrated the festival today at Hanuman Dhoka by dressing up as cows. It is believed that this helps deceased family members to pass from earth to heaven and also to cheer those who are left behind.
