At least six people have been killed and seven others injured when a boiler exploded inside a food processing plant in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, officials say. A boiler had exploded inside a noodle factory in Muzaffarpur district, 71 km north of Bihar’s capital Patna.
“Rescue efforts are underway and a search is on for the missing,” said Muzaffarpur District Magistrate Pravan Kumar. Local media reported that panic had erupted and locals had fled their homes.
