GUWAHATI: The three branches of the Indian armed forces are ready to stop the growing Chinese aggression in the northeast. With that aim, they conducted a joint exercise on the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal. This exercise has been named 'Operation Purbi Prahar'. This exercise, which lasted from November 10 to November 18, is quite significant in terms of the country's defense.

The Ministry of Defense has informed that this exercise has been conducted to increase the coordination of the three forces of the country. Several fighter aircraft and surveillance aircraft of the Air Force participated in this eight-day exercise held in Arunachal. Also, the advanced light helicopter 'Rudra' made using indigenous technology was also present. M 777 Ultralight Howitzer, ABD drone, Swarm drone and other modern weapons were used here. In this exercise, the top modern and army jawans of the three forces got acquainted with each other here. Even how to deal with emergencies on the battlefield has been taught by hand.

For a long time, China's aggression in the northeast has been a headache for India. China has been accused of intrusion into Arunachal many times. Not only that, satellite images have captured images of villages being built one after another along the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal. In the context of this war front, a section of defense experts believe that after positive talks with China to resolve the border issue in eastern Ladakh, Delhi is now looking to focus on Sikkim and Arunachal.
