Nepal requests Israel to play a decisive role in the release of Bipin Joshi
Nepali Ambassador for Israel Kanta Rijal has met with various high officials of Israel and asked them to play a decisive role in the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who was held prisoner by Hamas. The high-level officials are the Israeli Prime Minister's Office Coordinator for the Hostages and Missing Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Gal Hirsch, Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Coordinator for Captives and Missing Ms. Shuli Davidovich and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Coordinator for the Hostages and Missing Foreign Nationals Lt. Col. (Ret.) Oron Minha.
On the occasion of the meeting in Tel Aviv, Ambassador Rijal said that Nepal expects a decisive effort/role from the Israeli government to search for Bipin Joshi who was held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.
In response, the Israeli authorities have expressed their commitment that they will fully support the release of Bipin Joshi.
