Prime Minister  Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has arrived in Uganda for the ongoing Non-Aligned Movement Summit.Prime Minister Prachanda was warmly welcomed by Ugandan officials at the international airport in Kampala. Prime Minister Prachanda was honored by the Ugandan army.

Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to address the summit on ‘Intensive Cooperation for Shared Global Prosperity’ today.

Today, Prime Dahal will attend a state banquet hosted by the President of the Republic of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, in honor of the heads of the delegation.

During the summit, Prime Minister Dahal will hold bilateral meetings with the participating heads of state, heads of government and other high-ranking personalities. 

It is said that the summit will deliberate on the report of the ministerial meeting, review the progress achieved in implementing the results of the 18th summit in 2019 and conclude by adopting the Kampala Declaration.

Nepal is one of the founding members of the NAM.
