Cholera has been reported in 14 people in Kathmandu Valley. Dr. Chuman Lal Das, Director, Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, informed that 14 people have been diagnosed with cholera and returned home after treatment.
Two cholera patients are undergoing treatment at Shukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital in Teku. Their condition is normal. He informed that the first patient of cholera was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after his condition was found to be very critical.
