Acid attack victim to get free treatment

The government is going to provide free treatment services to acid attack victims.

Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, Co-Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, informed that free treatment services will be available to acid attack victims at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajganj, Veer Hospital, Patan Hospital and Kirtipur Hospital.

Arrangements have also been made for the victims to get free treatment from any health institution in the country for emergency treatment. The government has passed the procedure for the treatment of acid attack victims 2078.
