The Jaimni Municipality of Baglung has expanded basic health services in all the tolls. By establishing urban health centers in some tolls of the city, the city has made basic health services accessible to the general public. Chief of the branch, Govinda Acharya, said that two centers have been set up at the same time to provide health services to the villages far from the reach of health facilities. Acharya informed that health centers have been set up in Marnas of Ward No. 8 Chisti and Dandakhani of Ward No. 10 Rangkhani.

Mayor Indra Raj Poudel said that basic level health services have reached the doorsteps of all the villages in the city as soon as the center came into operation. Jaimini Municipality has one primary health center, eight health posts, and four urban health centers.

"We have set up an urban health center more than an hour away from local sources for primary health care," said Acharya. "Now no one has to travel far for general treatment." He said that all the medical treatment received at the health post would be provided from the health center run by one health assistant.

"The laboratory is also expanding. We can only expand the service by managing the staff first," he said. "Not only the internal resources of the city but also the federal government should pay attention." Inaugurating the health center, Mayor Indra Raj Poudel said that the nearby government was addressing the problems of the people. He said that the basic needs of the people like education, health, drinking water, and roads are being met. Earlier, health posts were in operation in Rangkhani and Chisti. Zaidi of Ward No. 7 and Nepane of Ward No. 3 already had urban health centers in operation.
