The Nepal Students of the Association of Nutrition and Dietetic, Dharan, has conducted a free health camp along with awareness on nutrition in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-1, Morang.
The organizer said that the ward of the city was selected since it has lagged in the education and health sectors.
Ward chairman Kaji Bahadur Basnet said that the camp remained fruitful since the health checkups were carried out and the information on diet and a healthy lifestyle was also shared.
Likewise, the chief of the health section of the metropolitan city Haidar Ali shared that a healthy baby would be borne if better nutrition was ensured from the early stage of conception.
The blood group, fat amount, blood pressure, and other basic tests were conducted in the camp.
Chairman of the Association Roshan Timsina said that the visitors were also provided with free counseling service.
