Ishan Children and Women Hospital expanded to 100 beds

Ishan Children and Women Hospital is planned to expand its service facilities to 100 beds in the near future. This information was given on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of its establishment.

Ishan Child Nursing Home, the first non-governmental children's hospital in Nepal, on the day of Krishna Ashtami in B.S. 2052

It started from Maharajganj Chowk with a capacity of 15 beds.

Since that time, the hospital's executive director Professor Dr. Ramanandan Prasad Chaudhary has informed that the hospital has been able to maintain its stability by providing excellent services with the help of expert doctors.

After the success of the children's hospital, it was upgraded to a 25-bed hospital with the addition of women's services and services were started as Ishan Children's Nursing and Maternity Home.

Later, the hospital moved to Basundhara Chowk in 2063 and started service under the name of Ishan Child and Women's Hospital. Last year, in its own modern building located in Tokha-5, it is providing multispecialty and superspecialty services of international standards. Executive Director Dr. Chaudhary

 It was informed that patients from Kathmandu Valley and Mechi in the country have come to receive services at the hospital.

In this hospital, which has gained fame in Nepal in the field of pediatric surgery and pediatric urology, MD Paediatrics is available 24 hours a day from the pediatric specialist registrars.

Pediatric Medicine, Neonatal and Pediatric Surgery, Emergency Services as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology Related emergency services and Accident & Trauma services are also available.

Various Neonatal and Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics Complicated urological surgeries were also performed in the hospital.

 Pediatrics Laparoscopy surgery is also being done in the hospital. For surgery Children also come from India.

Executive Director Dr Chaudhary informed that pediatric bone marrow transplant will be started soon in this hospital. Similarly, CT Scan facility is also going to be done here soon.

Infertility clinic (IVF_) has also been started in the hospital.

Currently, the hospital has 80 senior specialists in various fields, including Superspecialty and Multispecialty services.
