A building for a communicable disease research center is being constructed at Tikapur in Kailali district. He said that the services provided by the center would be important in view of the recent rise in the number of infectious diseases. Mayor Tikapur said that Tikapur has come a long way in the field of health and the center, which will be built with the investment of the state government, has a lot of potential.
The center, which was started at a cost of Rs 40 million, is considered as a multi-year project, said Deepak Rawal, former chairman of the Tikapur Hospital Development Committee. . Stating that a budget of Rs. 160 million is required for this center, he said that it would also help in increasing the capacity of Tikapur Hospital.
The state government had allocated Rs. 20 million for the center in the last fiscal year but the work could not move forward due to corona infection. The state government had allocated Rs.2 Crores
