In a bid to make arrangements of 'dialysis' equipment at Anbukhaireni Hospital in Tanahun, local people's representatives drew the attention of Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Ward Chairperson of Anbukhaireni rural municipality-3, Dinesh KC met with NC President Deuba on Sunday and made the request.
On the occasion, ward chair KC urged President Deuba to take initiative for the arrangement of necessary equipment for blood transmission at the hospital.
President Deuba, in response, said he would instruct Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet for the arrangement of the dialysis machine, KC shared.
As informed, Anbukhaireni rural municipality is planning to operate dialysis service at the hospital from the upcoming fiscal year 2080/81.
Anbukhaireni rural municipality chairperson Shukra Chuman informed that a dialysis centre would be set up at the hospital to provide easy and accessible service to 25 kidney disease survivors within the rural municipality.
