Pneumonia patients increase in Bajura

Bajura Hospital has witnessed a surge of pneumonia patients for a week. Fifteen to 30 children suffering from pneumonia are brought in for treatment, according to hospital chief Dr Prakash Joshi.

Information officer at the hospital, Nrip Raj Giri, shared that 13 children were receiving treatment. Among them, one has tested positive for Coronavirus, he added.

The hospital had conducted coronavirus tests among 13 children some days back and the swabs collected were sent to Doti lavratory. 

The hospital further said while some children receiving treatment were normal, most of them were in critical stage. So, they were receiving treatment with oxygen.
