Safe abortion service at Rukumpur Hospital

Safe abortion and rabies vaccine service has been started at Rukumpur Hospital along with health insurance service. Citizens of Rukumpur are happy after receiving three services from the hospital.

The hospital has started health insurance services, safe abortion up to 10 weeks and rabies vaccine service. All three services have been launched on Tuesday. Hospital Management Committee Chairperson Fateh Kumari Oli, Sisne Village Chairperson Kumari Baral, and Chief District Officer Laxmi Prasad Banskota jointly announced the launch of the new service.

Two years after the establishment of the hospital, the flow of health insurance, safe abortion, and rabies vaccine services have eased the health treatment of the people and the people of the district are also excited, said Sisne Village Chairman Kumari Baral. He says that it is equally necessary to inform the citizens about the service. "After being bitten by a dog, patients used to go to private hospitals for treatment. They used to go to Salle Hospital in Rukum West and get vaccinated," he said. "They used to go to another district for safe abortion.

With the launch of all three services, the people of the district will get relief in health treatment. Chairperson of the hospital management committee Fateh Kumari Oli urged the health workers to provide the new service flow to the citizens easily. Acting Medical Superintendent of Rukumpur Hospital, Dr. Ganesh Chaudhary, said that the complaints of the citizens are now decreasing.
