KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that age-old festivals such as Ram Nawami play an important role in safeguarding Nepal’s rich civilization, religious traditions, and cultural identity.

In a message of goodwill on the occasion of Ram Nawami, he extended warm wishes for peace, happiness, and prosperity to all Nepalis at home and abroad.

He expressed hope that festivals rooted in culture and history would contribute to strengthening national unity by promoting mutual respect, harmony, and cooperation among Nepal’s diverse communities—spanning various ethnicities, languages, cultures, and regions.
