KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has stated that the celebration of Ram Nawami provides a meaningful opportunity to reinforce faith in the principles of truth, righteousness, and dignity as exemplified by Lord Ram.

He noted that the festival should inspire individuals to adopt Lord Ram’s values and dedicate themselves to the pursuit of unity, prosperity, and national development.

“Ram Nawami is more than a celebration—it is a sacred moment to align our lives with Shri Ram’s ideals,” said the Vice President. “May this day motivate everyone to walk the path of righteousness and unwavering determination, as Lord Ram did.”

In honor of the occasion, the federal government has announced a public holiday nationwide.
