All services closed at Nepal Medical College, Attarkhel

After vandalizing the Nepal Medical College at Attarkhel by the patient's relatives, all services have been stopped except for emergency services.

The administration of the hospital issued a notice today and said that until the people involved in the vandalism are dealt with and until the safety of the health workers and health institutions is guaranteed, all services other than emergency have been closed.

71-year-old Suvarna Kumar Dhital of Makalbari was admitted for gallbladder surgery.

He died during the treatment. Relatives of the patient protested and vandalized the hospital premises saying that the doctor did not inform him even though the patient's health condition was complicated.
