KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has demanded a probe into the vandalism and burning of its party central office on Friday.
Vice Chair of the party and chief of the central publicity department, Prakash Jwala, expressed grief over the incident and demanded fair probe. Condemning the incident, the party has also initiated investigation, collecting details on damage, he added.
After the demonstrators clashed with police persons at Tinkune, Kathmandu during the demonstration held by various religious organizations and supporters of monarchy, the mob headed to Unified Socialist’s central office at Aloknagar and vandalized it.
Later, the blaze was doused with the help of security persons.
