KATHMANDU: Westerly winds are currently influencing the weather across the country, with foggy conditions reported in several areas of the Terai.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology states that the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will experience predominantly clear skies this afternoon.
Later in the evening, the weather will turn partly to mostly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Department also warns that fog could affect many parts of the Terai and Kathmandu Valley on Friday morning.
It has advised the public to stay alert, as this could disrupt daily activities, health, transportation, and air travel.
