The flooded Seti river has damaged the motorable bridge that connects two wards of Pokhara Metropolitan City, disrupting transportation.

The river, which has been swollen by torrential rain since Saturday night, has eroded the bridge's foundation, according to the Division Road Office in Pokhara, putting people's mobility on the damaged bridge at risk. He believes the bridge's structures should be relocated.

The river has damaged the bridge's pillars, according to Pushpendra Pandey, ward chair of metropolis-19.

The road office built the 72-meter-long, 7-meter-wide bridge five years ago.

Similarly, the swollen river eroded the road connecting Bharwari and Kavre, disrupting transportation, according to Santosh Acharya, a local school teacher.
