Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal has vowed to support the pollution control in Sirsiya river.
At a programme organized by Birgunj Metropolitan City on Thursday, Minister Rijal also praised the role played by the metropolitan city to control contamination of Sirsiya river and pledged to provide needed support on behalf of the ministry as well.
On the occasion, Minister Rijal shared that efforts are ongoing for the development of an industrial village.
Likewise, Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City Rajesh Man Singh stated that he was working with top priority to control pollution, which is caused from the release of garbage from the industries. Mayor Singh said support from the ministry was much needed to control pollution.
Likewise, Mayor Singh urged Minister Rijal for facilitation to release more budget for the city adding that the city was facing hardships to implement projects for lack of resources.
