At Fulbari in West Chitwan, one person died due to a gas leak from a cooking gas cylinder. District Police Office Chitwan has identified the deceased as 50-year-old Manish Thapa of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-15 Derichok.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sriram Bhandari, it is initially assumed that Thapa died on Monday when a gas cylinder exploded due to a gas leak while cooking in his room. A fire broke out inside the premises of the local Avinash Fertilizer Company. He said that the incident is being further studied.
