Flood in Bahuli rivulet on Tuesday night has obstructed Surma road section linking Chainpur to Surma rural municipality.
According to District Police Office Information Officer Kamal Chaudhary, the police team went to the site of the landslide and the details of the damage are yet to be known.
As dozens of villages in the district are at high risk of landslides due to the rainy season, Chaudhary urged all to remain vigilant. The Sendogadi power plant of Surma-2 is also at risk due to the landslide.
