Three arrested from Gurjudhara for poaching leopard

Police have arrested three people for poaching a leopard, a rare wild animal.

Arjun Thing, 23, of Gurjudhara, Kathmandu, Balden Waiba, 24, of Thaha Municipality-12, Makwanpur, and Dil Bahadur Tamang, 46, of Sakela Village Municipality-3 have been arrested for poaching a leopard

They were arrested by a team from the Metropolitan Police Complex from Gurjudhara in Kathmandu.

The police have recovered 1.3 meters long leopard skin from them.

The arrested have been sent to the Division Forest Office, Hattisar, Kathmandu for necessary action, police said.
