Two persons died while nine others got injury in a jeep accident occurred at Dhorpatan municipality-5 of Baglung district today.
Those killed in the incident were jeep driver Tilak Gharti Magar, 30, from Dhorpatan municipality-4, Baglung, and Sangita Adhikari, 28, from Chandragiri municipality-11, Kathmandu.
Both of them died on the spot, according to Area Police Office, Burtibang. The jeep was heading to Dhorpatan Valley from Burtibang.
Police informed that the accident occurred due to brake failure. Nine passengers injured in the accident were rescued by the security persons.
They are receiving treatment at Primary Health Centre, Burtibang.
