One person was killed when an Indian truck hit an autorickshaw at Saja Chowk in Kohalpur Municipality-11 of Banke today. The deceased has been identified as Ram Sevak Tharu, 29, of Kohalpur-13, according to Ain Bahadur Malla of Kohalpur.
He died while undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur. Police have arrested the truck driver involved in the accident and also taken control of the truck. The police is investigating the incident. The road was jammed for some time after the incident.
