Crusher industries in different places of the district have been operating without registration. Out of the 19 crusher industries operating in the district, 10 are unregistered and operating without fulfilling the conditions.
According to the district coordination committee, the renewal was stopped because nine others were registered and operated but did not meet the criteria. For the operation of the crusher industry, there is a requirement to be 500 meters away from highways and rivers or riverbanks, concrete bridges, historical lakes, reservoirs and ponds.
Similarly, there is a provision to operate industries at a distance of two kilometers from dense settlements, one thousand five hundred meters from the foot of Chure Hill and two hundred meters from high tension lines, educational institutions, places of health, religious, cultural, archaeological importance and security agencies, international borders, forests, parks and reserves. is The District Administration Office has been requested to write to the Nepal Authority to stop power supply to the industries operating without fulfilling any conditions and without registering the industry.
Subba Nar Bahadur Magrati of the district coordination committee informed that although the district monitoring committee decided to close the crusher industry which was operating against the standards after monitoring on different dates, the district coordination committee was still operating it. There are seven crusher industries operating in Shuklagandaki Municipality, two in Myagde Rural Municipality and one in Bandipur. A Six Aggregate Company Pvt Ltd at Shuklagandaki-7, Melmilap Stone, Sand, Aggregate Industry, SN LA Aggregate & Crusher Industry Pvt Ltd at Shuklagandaki-2, Siddheshwar Aggregate & Concrete Block Industry, Jai Mahalakshmi Aggregate Industries Pvt Ltd at Shuklagandaki-5 and Proper Construction & Construction at Shuklagandaki-5 Crusher Industries Pvt.
Similarly, there are Seti Dobhan Block and Aggregate Industries and Dhor Barahi Aggregate Industries in Myagde Rural Municipality-4 and 5 respectively. Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Santiraman Wagle informed that most of the crusher industries were found to be operating without registration in other bodies, including the Domestic and Small Industries Committee.
