Biratnagar Metropolitan City- 19 police have arrested 3 people on a charge of murder. Earlier, the police had arrested 28-year-old Priyanka Sunar’s husband Ramesh Sah and Ramanand Ram of Kathari rural municipality-5.
DSP Tika Bahadur Karki informed that Umesh Sardar of Kathari rural municipality-5 was also arrested on Monday afternoon. Apart from these, other people have also been called for questioning, he said. According to DSP Karki, during the initial investigation, it was found that Ramanand was involved in the management of the dead body and Umesh's car was used in that process.
He said that the incident is being investigated from various angles and it will take time to find out the truth. Priyanka's dead body was found inside a sack in Narsingh Choudhary's Gwali of Budhiganga Rural Municipality-2 Amahi in Morang.
The police are also interrogating Narasimha after the dead body was found with injuries all over the body around 12 noon on Sunday. Police have kept the body at Kosi Hospital for post-mortem.
