Two more Nepalis have died from coronavirus infection abroad. According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), one died in London and the other one in South Africa in the last week.
According to the Health Committee under NRNA, the number of Nepalese who died from coronavirus has reached 319 in 20 different countries so far.
Coordinator of Health Committee, Sanjeev Sapkota said 54,591 Nepalese living in 50 different countries abroad were infected with coronavirus till Saturday. Of them, 52,945 were recovered.
More Nepalese living in London, Japan, and middle-east countries including South Africa have been found infected with coronavirus in the last week.
Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Employment and Welfare of the NRNA also organised a special virtual workshop regarding suicide prevention after Nepalese who are in overseas employment are found suffering from mental disorders. The Department has organised such type of three workshops so far.
