KATHMANDU: The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) officially begins today.
As per the National Examination Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations, the SEE is scheduled to start at 8 AM across 2,079 examination centers nationwide.
On the first day, students will be appearing for Compulsory English, Compulsory Sanskrit Composition for Vedavidyashram students, and Compulsory Arabic Language for Madrasa students, as per the examination schedule.
This year, a total of 514,071 students are taking the SEE, marking an increase of 49,286 from last year’s 464,785 examinees.
To facilitate smooth exam operations, each center with up to 150 students has been assigned one assistant center head and one invigilator for every 20 examinees. However, examination centers with fewer than 75 students have not been assigned an assistant center head.
