Acting Prime Minister Khadka discusses with cabinet members

 Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Purna Bahadur Khadka has discussed with members of the Council of Ministers on contemporary affairs.

At a discussion with all minsters at the Ministry of Defense on Monday, acting PM Khadka stressed the need for all ministries to perform in a way to satisfy the people.

According to the secretariat of acting PM, matters related to addressing public concerns and service delivery were discussed. The tasks concerning the general public and service delivery should not be compromised even when Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal was in foreign visit, Khadka briefed in the meeting.

On the occasion, he underlined to carry out works in a sensitive manner when the elements were active to warn the law and order and create frustrations among the people.

Also, he stressed the need to work in a way to ensure smooth supply of market goods and maintain law and order in view of the Constitution Day and festivals. He asked the ministries to put measures to check black marketeering and price inflation and work to bring visible changes in people's life.

The cabinet members also discussed the ways to boost performance of all ministries and ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

The acting PM also instructed the concerned ministers to immediately prepare an action plan to improve road condition and ensure effective security arrangements in view of the festive time.

Also present on the occasion was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha. All minsters pledged to not leave any stone unturned to address public concerns, including law and order and supply of goods. ---
