Launching the seed-related software called 'Desis-2' here today, the Agriculture Minister said it is necessary to connect agriculture with the information technology, and that significant achievement could be made in the agro sector only if this could happen.

According to him, an improvement can be made in the entire agriculture sector by making the seed distribution system digitized. "The agriculture sector should also take the comparative advantage with the government's implementation of the 'Digital Nepal Framework', he added.

Stating that agriculture, tourism, energy and large infrastructure construction are necessary for Nepal's development, Minister Adhikari spoke of promotion of digital literacy while making the agriculture based on technology.
