Rupandehi police have arrested a gang involved in selling and distributing fake gold. Police have arrested Dhan Saumai, 40, of Butwal Sub-Metropolis-17 at a hotel in Sheetalpur, Sainamina Municipality-10, Rupandehi on May 19 and also the whole gang on the charge of cheating people by giving them gold-colored metal which looks like gold.
Dhan Bahadur Sunar, 37, of Dhusuwa in Gaidhawa Gaonpalika-9 of Rupandehi and Dev Bahadur Magar, 37, of Hattibazar in Kanchan Gaonpalika-1 have been arrested from Saina Maina Municipality-1.
They called the victim to the hotel and pretended that they would pay the rest of your old money.
According to the police, they also found nine gold bars with gold-like yellow substance, four mobile sets of different companies and a gold nugget of about 1 tola 7 red equal to the victim's bracelet.
