Avalanche obstructs Karnali highway

The Karnali highway has been obstructed due to an avalanche.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Jumla, Narendra Chand, said Karnali highway has been obstructed due to an avalanche at Rachuli of Tilagufa municipality-4 of Kalikot district on Wednesday.

Vehicles heading towards Nepalgunj from Jumla remain trapped in the avalanche. Likewise, passengers have been stranded. Preparations are underway to resume the highway.
