The newly appointed Chief of Bagmati Province, Yadav Chandra Sharma, has taken an oath of office and secrecy in the presence of President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday.
He took the oath in accordance with Article 167 of the Constitution amidst a special function at the President's Office on Friday afternoon. Present on the occasion were Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, among others.
