MP Dr Bhim Rawal said that the budget was presented without any study at a time when the country was in financial crisis and there would be difficulties in its implementation. In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that the government has not been able to adopt the system of socialist-oriented economy. MP Rawal suggested that the budget failed to address the issue of internal and external debt in Nepal. MP Rawal said that the construction of a two-hour expressway to Everest and a one-hour expressway from Kathmandu to Chitwan was also a cheap popularity of the budget.
The theoretical discussion on the annual estimate (budget) of revenue and expenditure of the House of Representatives for the fiscal year 2022/23 has been completed. The answer to the questions raised in the discussion is to be given by the Finance Minister tomorrow.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on June 3 at 11 am.
