CAAN has directed the helicopter companies to reduce the additional fare that it has been charging to ferry patients infected with coronavirus. It has also asked the companies to appoint a contact person and make the official’s name and telephone number public so as to stop passengers from being swindled by middlemen for booking flights.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has also asked people who have been facing problems while booking helicopter flights to lodge their complaints with Gyanendra Bhul, Deputy Manager of the Flight Permission Section of CAAN. Bhul can be contacted on 9851135091 or at flightpermission@caanepal.gov.np or bhulgnb7725@gmail.com.
