Chief of Karnali Province Tilak Pariyar has extended best wishes for social justice, good governance and prosperity to all Nepali people at home including Karnali Province, and foreign countries on the occasion of the 16th Republic Day, 2080.
The Day has been worth to remember as the democratic republic alongside federalism, secularism, proportional and inclusive was established through long struggles and sacrifices of people ending around 250 years feudal monarchy, he said.
He also paid his tributes and condolences to all martyrs who sacrificed their life for the liberation of the groups and communities who have been facing discriminations, suppression, and exploitation.
There is a need to protect rights of people achieved so far, and carry out development activities, he said. "I wish may this Day inspire all to move ahead hand in hand while maintaining unity among people from mountain, hill, Madhes and Tarai, and national consensus," he said in the message.
