The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police has taken statements from former Prime Ministers Baburam Bhattarai and Madhav Kumar Nepal regarding the Lalita residence land case.
CIB Police Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari informed that the former Prime Minister Bhattarai and Nepal took a statement on the Lalita residence land case.
The CIB went to the homes of both the former prime ministers and took their statements.
According to the CIB spokesperson, the CIB is preparing to submit the investigation report on the Lalita Niwas case today.
In a tweet, former Prime Minister Bhattarai has mentioned that during his time, he fulfilled his duty by giving the truth to the CIB about the questions raised regarding the decision of his Council of Ministers in the Lalita Niwas case.
